Valley Road Micro-Farm Tour
Sunday, August 2nd from 9am-12pm
Meet at the Valley Road Site
This is the first tour of the Great Basin Community Food Co-op’s farm tour series of local farms. The morning will include viewing and learning about our row crops, raised beds, bee hive, and chickens. Additionally, Nevada Naturals will show the new small-scale hydroponic operation that is nearing completion on-site.
Farm produce will also be for sale
Bring gloves to lend a hand as you learn and enjoy the morning.

Be part of creating and establishing a small-scale urban farm from the ground up at our Valley Road site. Applicable lessons for the home gardener and especially those who want to ramp up their production in this gardening renaissance.
